GeeXboX is a free and Open Source Media-Center purposed Linux distribution for embedded devices and desktop computers. The GeeXboX distribution is lightweight and designed for one single goal: embed all major multimedia applications as to turn your PandaBoard into an HTPC. The GeeXboX project relies on OpenBricks framework and make use of accelerated hardware audio/video decoding through OpenMAX and GFX acceleration through OpenGL|ES and OpenVG.
OpenBricks is an enterprise-grade embedded Linux framework that provides easy creation of custom distributions for industrial embedded devices. It features a complete embedded development kit for rapid deployment on x86, ARM, PowerPC and MIPS systems, including OMAP4 / PandaBoard.
